Warranty Policy

Warranty Policy

Every machine we sell is covered by a manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Cover length varies by product and brand, and the specific terms for your machine are supplied with it in the box.

What is covered

  • Manufacturing defects in the engine, motor, drive system or chassis.
  • Components that fail under normal domestic use within the warranty period.
  • Faults present on arrival — report these within 48 hours of delivery.

What is not covered

  • Wear items. Blades, belts, filters, spark plugs, tyres, batteries past their stated cycle life, and similar consumables.
  • Fuel-related faults. Damage from stale fuel, incorrect fuel, or fuel left in the tank over winter is the single most common cause of engine problems and is not a manufacturing defect.
  • Missed maintenance. Damage resulting from skipped oil changes or servicing intervals set out in the manual.
  • Misuse or modification. Commercial use of a domestic-rated machine, striking solid objects, unauthorised repairs, or fitting non-approved parts.
  • Cosmetic marks that do not affect function.

Making a claim

Email support@koiboni.com with:

  • Your order number and date of purchase
  • The model name and serial number (usually on a plate on the deck or housing)
  • A description of the fault and what happens when you try to use the machine
  • Photos or a short video of the problem where possible

We will confirm whether the fault is covered and arrange repair, replacement parts, or a replacement machine as appropriate. Keep your proof of purchase — a claim cannot be processed without it.

Before you claim

A large share of reported faults turn out to be fuel, charge or filter issues that are quick to resolve. If your machine will not start or is running poorly, get in touch before arranging anything — we may be able to sort it the same day without a return.

Your statutory rights

This warranty is in addition to your legal rights as a consumer and does not replace them.
